What We Are
We are a medium size church - not large, not small - located in Bethlehem, NC on Highway 127 just north of beautiful Lake Hickory and the city of Hickory. We average about 90 in worship attendance with the 10:00am Worship Service and with Sunday School at 9:00am. Our worship experience is structured by casual dress, friendly faces and our worship style is a blend of traditional with contemporary elements.

Mt. Bethel Methodist Church exists to glorify God through worship, evangelism, discipleship, and missions. We are inspired by Jesus' love to minister to our community and to the world through mission projects.
We have several ministries here at Mt. Bethel - we have Sunday School for all ages, Adult Bible Study classes, Children Ministries, Youth Ministries, and active Men's and Women Ministries. And we have music ministries - Adult Choir and groups that get together to play and worship our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
We are a friendly, family oriented church of folks who love the Lord and enjoy coming together to worship, learning about God, serving others in the name of Christ, and for fellowship. We invite you to visit with us!
Fellowship
Mt. Bethel Methodist Church is grounded in the Word of God and exemplifies this through the fellowship and actions of the congregation. We enjoy meeting new people and spending time with one another. Once a month, the church family can be found gathering at the church or a common location for some food and fellowship,..we call these Family Fun Nights!! Each Family Fun Night carries a theme with food and activity centered around that theme. Activities are for all ages, young and old alike.
